Nacionalista Candidates Mitra and Ople challenge COMELEC (May 2010)

In the 2010, elections were automated. There was a resolution for a parallel manual count but after this was junked, Ople and Mitra asks COMELEC to prove that automated tallying would have no problems. “Kung hindi mag-tally ang bilang, posibleng magkagulo, may sapat ba silang kakayahan na avert possible violence.” says Mitra.
