Cerafica filed a petition against Lino Cayetano's proclamation as Taguig City Mayor

Arnel Cerafica filed a petition for manual recount after Lino Cayetano was proclaimed mayor. He claimed that a city-wide fraud occurred because the receipts showed that the votes that were supposed to be for his slate was counted for Cayetano. He also claimed that there must be a conspiracy between the Cayetanos and the Comelec.

The Hukbong Laban sa Katiwalian (HLK) group filed a graft case against Arnel Cerafica

The group requested for a lifestyle check on Arnel Cerafica's extravagant lifestyle and vast properties. According to the spokesperson of Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC), they will assess and examine should there be any evidences found, and that they are willing to sit down and discuss the case.

Arnel Cerafica's rallying supporters caused gridlock traffic in C5, EDSA

After the midterm elections, thousands of Arnel Cerafica's supporters rallied to protest the results of the election which caused gridlock traffic in EDSA. Mayor-elect, Lino Cayetano urged his opponent’s supporters to just file an electoral protest and head home.
