Erice texts Grace Poe, denies involvement in smear campaign

Accused of being involved in disqualifying Grace Poe’s run for President in 2016. But denied all the rumors and texted Sen. Grace Poe personally. “Sen. Grace (ma’am). May I respectfully seek an audience so I can personally assure you that I am not part of those who (question) your being a Filipino, as being maliciously peddled in the social media. I have some information that I can share with you regarding this,” Erice’s text message to Poe read.

Quarreled with Kris Aquino over Mar’s failed 2016 presidential bid. But denied and clear the statement he made and said it was all misunderstanding. “Mam, it’s not my intention to blame Pres Pnoy. I am very close to him. I believe he did great for our country. I simply replied to a question of why we are now wearing blue. And my simple and honest reply was to establish our own identity, and I think one of the mistakes of 2016 was the perception that Mar is the Robin and Robin can never be a Batman.”
