QC CITY FIRSTS PROGRAMS AND QC DIGITAL CONVERSION

  • QCITIZEN ID - QCitizen Card’ will provide the city government a complete and accurate database of its residents. A definite number of every sector in its population will be determined that will make the city’s services be allocated to them better.
  • QC PAY EASY - The Quezon City Government has launched the QC Pay Easy which tax payers and business owners to pay their real property dues and new business permit applications through the electronic payment facility QC Easy Pay.
  • CIVIL REGISTRY SERVICE DIGITALIZATION - The Quezon City Government will launch the first online birth registraton portal in the country this year to address the problem of late and unregistered birth registrations of the city.
  • QC ESERVICES - The Quezon City Government has launched and activated the its eServices online facility.
  • FASTER SERVICES TO BE ENABLED BY QCITIZENS DATABASE - QCitizens who have already registered for a QCitizen ID Card can soon expect an expedited processing system for the city’s services and privileges through the digital conversion of the IDs into a unified database.
  • NO CONTACT APPREHENSION - The Quezon City Government introdued the No Contact Apprehension to all motorists violating traffic laws and ordinances in Quezon City
  • QC: BIZ EASY ONLINE UNIFIED BUSINESS PERMIT APPLICATION SYSTEM (OUBPAS) - an online processing system of business permits applications, which was ordered for the creation of Task Force for Ease of Doing Business and Automation in the city.

Health

  • NGITING QC - the government will provide free cleft lip and cleft palate surgery in the hospital. The service is available to the city’s indigent patients with cleft deformities.
  • TATALON HEALTH CENTER PHARMACY
  • PHILHEALTH CARD - Under the program, the city government will be paying for the contribution of these selected beneficiaries. This is to help its residents allay fears and worries when getting sick.
  • HUMAN MILK BANK - aims to provide breastmilk to premature-born babies born with pneumonia, sepsis or COVID-positive. The breastmilk are also distributed in times of calamities.
  • HOPE FACILITIES - The local government of Quezon City has 11 HOPE FACILITES to care for COVID-diagnosed citizens both asymptomatic and mild symptoms.

Local Tourism

QC CITY FIRSTS PROGRAMS

  • COMMUNITY GOWIFI - The Quezon City Government and Globe Telecoms have joined forces in providing free internet access to QCitizens via the GoWiFiPh.
  • COMMUNITY WIKONEK WIFI - This program will help advance the city’s initiatives to connect all QCitizens to the programs and services of the local government, especially with the move to convert services online.
  • DISTRICT ACTION OFFICES -
    The Quezon City Government will be establishing six (6) Action Offices, one for each of the city’s six legislative districts.
  • QUEZON CITY QCITY BUS SERVICE - The Quezon City Government’s City Bus Augmentation Program is set provide additional means of transportation to commuters and help ease traffic congestion.

Environment

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

  • GREEN TRANSPORTATION - This project aims to promote energy efficiency and clean technology in the transport sector.
  • AIR QUALITY MONITORING SENSORS - The Quezon City Government through its Environment Protection and Waste Management Department (EPWMD) has installed air quality monitoring sensors across the city to determine the pollution levels and create appropriate solutions to achieve cleaner air.
  • CREEKS AND WATERWAYS CLEAN-UP - The City Government through the QC Task Force on Solid Waste Management has started conducting a major dredging, declogging and clean-up drive of all its creeks and waterways.
  • QCBASUHERO - The QCBasuhero a ‘house-to-house’ recycling trading program roving around the different subdivisions of Quezon City. Recyclable materials accepted are papers, bottles, scrap metals and plastics.
  • PARK REHABILITATION - the Quezon City Government has programmed to rehabilitate the city’s open spaces including the city parks to protect the environment and promote its protection.
  • QC’S BAN ON PLASTIC GROCERY BAGS RESUMES - The ordinance prohibits the distribution and use of plastic bags as carry-out for groceries and other items in retail establishments like supermarkets, malls, shopping centers, convenience stores, fast-food restaurants, and other businesses throughout the city.
  • TRASH TO CASHBACK - the Quezon City government launched “Trash to Cashback’ to drastically reduce plastic waste towards a greener metro, while teaching how the public can turn what’s in their trash into groceries.
  • E-TRIKES AND MERALCO FOR E-TRIKE CHARGING STATIONS ACROSS THE CITY
  • C40’s Air Quality Programme - directly supports cities to accelerate air quality improvements by facilitating peer to peer knowledge sharing, providing technical assistance, capacity building, and creating new tools and resources for cities.

EDUCATION AND LEARNING

  • PALIHAN 2021 - aims to provide the QC public school students and parents with free access to online activities through pre-recorded videos on various topics.
  • EDUK-AKSYON: COMMITMENTS INTO ACTIONS MAYOR’S EDUCATION SUMMIT - a venue for education stakeholders to present innovations that aid in the effective delivery of quality education in the time of pandemic.
  • COMMUNITY LIBRARY PANTRY - The project aims to complement the online learn-from-home program, and provide additional guidance and learning to the youth.
  • PUBLIC LIBRARY DAY ONLINE STORYTELLING -
  • J. AMADO ARANETA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP AND LEARNING LAB - the social development arm of Araneta City, awarded 34 senior high school graduates from the public schools of Quezon City each four-year scholarship grants. Through this program, the scholars will be supported in their college education with an allowance every semester.
  • INCENTIVES AWARDED TO TOP GRADUATING STUDENTS AND “JOY OF PUBLIC” SERVICE RECIPIENTS - awarded the top graduating students of the city’s public schools who possessed the highest general grade average with a cash incentive in support of their brighter future and to further their higher learning.
  • “WHAT KIDS SHOULD KNOW ABOUT QC” ONLINE LAUNCH -
  • QUARANTALKS QC FEATURES WEBINAR SERIES FOR PARENTS - This was made possible in collaboration with the Schools Division Office-Quezon City and the city’s PTA Federation. Quarantalks QC serves as a platform for additional information, the dissemination of activities to help prepare for the opening of schools, and to answer concerns regarding blended learning modalities.
  • Special Education Fund - this is for programs that aim to ensure that learning continues in Quezon City.
