He was investigated by the US Drug Enforcement Agency.” , Lacson had been the target of the Arroyo administration’s harassment since Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo took the presidency in 2001. 2003, this was one of several false claims made against him by the Arroyo administration and its allies. There has never been an investigation against Lacson by the US DEA.
Wealth “Lacson kept fabulous amounts of wealth in US bank accounts.
Lacson dared his accusers to show proof of such accounts, and that if they could indeed find any bank account in his name, they can have it. None have come up with such proof to this day. COVID-19 Mass Testing

When we say mass testing, we do not refer to all the 100-plus million Filipinos. It’s only the most vulnerable: those over 60 years old, which constitutes not even 10 percent of the entire population; those who are exposed; and those with symptoms. If the DOH does not change its way of handling the crisis, I hate to say, we may be overrun by COVID-19 faster than we can imagine. DOH Sec. Francisco Duque III may not be very responsive when he says mass testing is not possible because there are not enough testing kits. Besides, I asked doctors who are knowledgeable about antibodies and viruses and all the other technical terms in the medical field. Their opinions mostly differ from those of the Secretary of Health.

The government must use its resources efficiently for procuring and rolling out vaccines, with the national debt at some P10.33 trillion, and with an additional $900 million in loans for COVID response. If we allow years for the pandemic to pass because we failed to implement our plans, we might end up being a pariah. No one will come here and no one will receive our Filipinos abroad.
