David filed a petition to unseat Senator Grace Poe for not being a natural-born Filipino

Rizalito David filed a quo warranto petition against Poe before the Senate Electoral Tribunal stating that the 1987 Constitution defines a natural-born citizen as those who are citizens of the Philippines from birth without having to perform any act to acquire or perfect their Philippine citizenship.

The Comelec Second Division, in a resolution, said that David misrepresented himself. Kapatiran Party President Norman Cabrera informed Comelec that the party is not fielding any candidates for the 2016 elections.
