NBI investigation awaits Vico Sotto for allegedly violating Bayanihan Act

NBI says Sotto violated a section of the Bayanihan act for allowing tricycles to operate as service to frontliners. The law was effective March 24 but alleged violation of Sotto happened at least a week before that. With people saying that going after Sotto is a political move, Duterte distances himself from the investigation. DILG also says Sotto did no violations.

An ex-PBA player allegedly cursed at a frontliner during the distribution of SAP. Sotto defended his staff saying “‘Yung sense of entitlement ng ibang tao, grabe talaga. Itong mga frontliners natin na nagpapagod, over beyond the call of duty tapos mumura-murahin ng taong ‘yun? Nagpipigil lang ako, gusto ko banggitin ‘yung pangalan niya eh."
