Pacquiao raised the corruption issue on DSWD for the missing Php10.4 billion for financial aid.

DSWD entered into an agreement with e-wallet app Starpay to distribute the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) and that only those who are registerd are able to claim their cash assistance.500,000 out of the 1.8 million benefeciaries downloaded the app, yet on record it showed that the 1.3 million people without the app had claimed it on record.

Pacquiao denies malice over an instagram live comment to a 22 year old woman.

The 22 year old woman was live on his Instagram account when Manny watched his video. Manny commented "hello" and afterwards asked where is she from. Netizen immedietly got a screenshot of the senator's comment together with the "verified" badge. The senator was put in question.In Manny's defense he has a habit on visiting his instagram account and watches live videos of his following list. And that he claimed that there is no malicious intent towards his comment.

Pacquiao vs. BIR

Pacquiao was under the heat of a tax evasion as filed by the BIR for his match earning back in 2008 and 2009. Pacquiao stated that he paid the US governments IRS accordingly. The BIR asks him to pay Php 3.3B for tax defeciencies. Pacquiao wants to end the tax case by "amicably" paying Php 2.2B to the Tax. Court lifts Tax evasion case of Pacquiao due to isufficient evidences presented.

Manny Pacquiao faces yet another unseemly scandal as his foundation comes under scrutiny

Manny pacquiao foundation which supports his favorite charities shipped a container full of "relief goods" from the US to the Philippines. It is believed to contain used clothes which does not fall under the declared items under the Philippine law. The foundation is being sued for the full shipping charge of $35,806.36 plus interest. However the Manny Pacquiao Foundation refused ownership of the said shipment and claimed that someone outside of their authority has used the name of the foundation for personal matter.
